Patrick Ness is a bit of a genius.

I'd already written a novel based on his Doctor Who spinoff show, Class so when I was asked if I would do a script for the audio series of the show it wasn't hard to step back into the shoes of the characters.

Originally I'd pitched to do a story that very much centered on Miss Quill (having loved writing her vinegar wit for the book) but then I was asked by producer, Scott Handcock, if I'd instead handle a mash-up between Class and the classic Doctor Who series: a story that would end up sharing narrative space with the 1988 story Remembrance of the Daleks.

The result comes as part of the second set of audio adventures based on the show. For more info, a trailer, and to order, click here
